Date-stamped : 14 Jul96 - 22:17 Tour Match MCC v Pakistan Shenley Park 14 July 1996 ====> REPORT Tour Match: Wasim to the rescue PAKISTAN overcame a shaky start to their one-day match against MCC at Shenley Park yesterday to win on a superior run rate. An excellent opening spell by Yorkshire`s Chris Silverwood helped to reduce the Pakistanis to 48 for four before captain Wasim Akram (74) and Moin Khan (46) supervised a recovery to 230 for seven with a sixth-wicket stand of 112.
