CricInfo has teamed up with the Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka (BCCSL) to produce a rating system for the Premier League tournament. Two separate ratings for batting and bowling will be produced each week with players awarded points for their performance. The number of points awarded is graded according to the quality of the opposition, with more points being given for good performances against the best teams
