bet365 weekly preview

Cricket - Pakistan v South Africa
South Africa's young guns arrived in Lahore this week amid heavy security ahead of Friday's one day game against Pakistan. Here at bet365 we make them 8/15 for the match with the host's at 11/8. Bet on the Top Team Batsman, and on who will hit the most Match Sixes in the game (Pakistan 6/5, South Africa 11/10, 4/1 Tie). Next week's 1st test between Australia (1/20) and Zimbabwe (66/1) looks uncompetitive to say the least!

Football - The Premiership
There has been much speculation this week concerning the future of Sir Bobby Robson at Newcastle, as backers fell over themselves to get on him to be the Next Premiership Manager to leave his job. His team, without a win this season, have also been the subject of a relegation gamble, and are now only 20/1 from 40/1 for the drop!

No such worries for either Liverpool or Arsenal ahead of Saturday's Anfield clash (ko 12.30), while north of the border Rangers take on Celtic in an old firm battle at Ibrox (ko 12.30). Live Nationwide League action throws up an intriguing clash between Derby and West Ham (ko 17.35). The Rams have found some form recently and could be a good bet at 2/1 to nail the Hammers!

Bet In Running service on these matches, including: Match Winner; Next Goal; Next Card; Total Corners; Total Bookings; and Correct Score.

Racing Round-up
It's a massive weekend for racing with a double header from Newmarket and Longchamp. The highlight of Newmarket's 3-day meeting is the Cambridgeshire Handicap which is likely to have in excess of 30 runners. Should be easy to pick the winner then! Michael Stoute's Akshar (7/1) is the early favourite but the two for money are Shot to Fame and Jazz Messenger who are both at 9/1, the latter trained by last year's winning trainer Gerard Butler.

The race forms part of a 6 race channel 4 programme on Saturday, which means that our popular 4/1 offer will be in operation. Back a winner at 4/1 or over in ant channel 4 race and we will give you a free bet to the same stake (up to £50) on the next Channel 4 race.

On Sunday, there is considerable British interest in the Arc de Triomphe, with Ireland's High Chaparral (2/1) reported back to his best, and likely to give hot favourite Dalakhani (13/8) most to do. The latter is reported to be 'flying' ahead of the big race, and could be an even shorter price on the day!

Chepstow's televised (BBC) card on Saturday marks another step up in gear for the jumps season, where Paul Nicholls could be the trainer to follow. His Santenay must surely take all the beating in the novice chase granted a clear round!

Here at bet365 we are offering our customers a chance to win a massive £25,000 in an easy to enter competition, linked to our sponsorship of the Charlie Hall Chase at Wetherby on November 1st. Check our site for full details

Golf - American Express Championship
The question for golf punters is whether the real Tiger Woods will stand up in this week's American Express Championship, after a month off during which he must have given his recent wayward game a total makeover? It would be dangerous to underestimate him this week but at 7/2 the value probably lies elsewhere. Ernie Els (8/1) and Darren Clarke (25/1), still fighting it out for the Order of Merit Title, go head to head for what is likely to be the final time this season, while Vijay Singh (10/1) could well make it a fifth straight victory for the over-40 year old brigade in the States. Adam Scott, already a winner on both sides of the Atlantic, has attracted support at 50/1, and he 'will do nicely' at ¼ odds 1st 5!

With extensive TV coverage for this event we will be offering backers the chance to bet In Running, including our exclusive Next Hole betting on selected 2/3 balls, which offers you the chance to bet on the Next Hole Winner, and the Next Hole Total score.

Snooker - LG Cup
Snooker's LG Cup breaks off this weekend, and here at bet365, we make reigning world champion Mark Williams (11/4) favourite to carry on where he left off last season. Next in the betting is the unpredictable Ronnie O'Sullivan at 4/1, while John Higgins is third favourite at 6/1. The 'Wizard of Wishaw' surprisingly failed to add to his impressive collection of silverware last season but has vowed to come back stronger this season. Defending champion Chris Small is 50/1 for a repeat!

Some of the early matches look one sided on paper but here at bet365 we will be offering special Handicap betting In Running, as well as betting on the Outright match winner and Next Frame Winner.

Be lucky!
