India v England
Yuvraj Singh
Test 2 Day5
54.5 Swann to Yuvraj Singh, 1 run, cut away square through point, that brings up a pleasing fifty for Yuvraj off 57 balls...he's played very well

56.4 Broad to Gambhir, 1 run, walks right across his stumps, angles it out to backward and brings up his half century off 174 balls

57.3 Anderson to Yuvraj Singh, SIX, great shot, poor ball on leg stump and flicked effortlessly over the leg side for six...that was a mere turn of the wrists, yet it flew into the stands. He has a great bat

60.4 Broad to Yuvraj Singh, SIX, and even more remarkable, he smashes a lofted drive high over the covers and Cook has no chance to get close to it. Quite deliberate, he aimed high and wide

And Dhoni will bowl. All this session needs is a funny hat and a comedy nose and it would be a complete farce. Anyhow, this will be the last over. Laxman keeping wicket in short-leg pads and we have two leg slips.

Yuvraj Singh Yuvraj shines in tame draw

Yuvraj Singh scored a blistering 86 in a fifth-wicket partnership of 153 with Gautam Gambhir to set England an impossible target of 403 in a tame draw on the final day in Mohali. Although most cricket-lovers would have hoped for an early Indian declaration, and witness the England response for most of the day, Yuvraj’s splendid show to a significant extent, assuaged that disappointment. He grabbed the initiative with a medley of punchy drives and slogs, including one particularly disdainful six off James Anderson. The last couple of Yuvraj's sixes came against his old sparring partner Broad and recalled images of that famous over in Durban, when he hit six in a row. However, in the end, neither Yuvraj and Gambhir reached their centuries, and with England left to bat just 28 overs after India declared, a dull draw was inevitable.
