Inzamam-ul-Haq batted like a dream. Marshalling his
considerable talents well, he used his experience to
devastating effect. It never seemed like it, and yet
Inzamam motored along at more than a run per ball, his
122 coming off 104 deliveries. But then, with Inzamam,
it never does seem like it. Singles are nudged. Twos
are impeccably placed. Fours are casually stroked.
Sixes are nonchalantly tonked. Inzamam's century,
along with Yousuf Youhana's 73, were Pakistan's
bulwarks, the reasons why Moin Khan could face the
last ball with six needed to win.
