On the first ball of the 44th over, when Yuvraj Singh worked a Younis Khan delivery down to fine-leg and picked up a brace, India had registered an emphatic win - by 7 wickets and with close to 7 overs to spare. India levelled the series 1-1. Irfan Pathan was awarded the Man-of-the-Match award for his 3 for 43, the most economical spell of bowling by any bowler in the match.
