28.1 Ojha to Jayawardene, OUT, Jayawardene tries to play the ball through cover, he ends up lobbing it tamely towards cover where Yuvraj takes the easiest of catches.

8.5 Kulasekara to Gambhir, OUT, caught! Gambhir sees the ball angling across him and tries to steer it towards third man, he plays away from his body and gets a thick edge and Sangakkara anticipates it beautifully and takes the catch to his left.

18.1 Mendis to Yuvraj Singh, OUT, bowled him! It was the ball that went straight on across the left-hander, yuvraj stayed in his crease and tried to push the ball on the off side, the ball hit the inside edge and then went on to the stumps.

19.3 Fernando to Dhoni, OUT, bowled him! Fernando bowled one full and fast, swinging into the right-hander, Dhoni hardly moved his feet as he tried to play across the line, the ball slipped through the gap between bat and pad and crashed into the stumps.

Nuwan Kulasekara dismissed the Indian top order, troubling the batsmen with movement off the seam, he took all three wickets to fall before the stoppage and on resumption trapped Rohit Sharma leg before. Ajantha Mendis and Dilhara Fernando stepped up to the plate after Kulasekara finished his quota of nine overs with 4 for 40. The last seven wickets fell in 11 overs.
