4th ODI: India v Pakistan at Gwalior, Nov 15, 2007
3.6 Pathan to Younis Khan, 1 run, Dropped by Dhoni. It was a length delivery around the off stump, Younis doesn't quite lean forward, just stabs at it as the ball curves in a touch. It took the inside edge and flew low and to the left of Dhoni who dived but couldn't hold on.
6.1 Singh to Younis Khan, no run, almost a mix-up. Younis pushed a full delivery towards cover and set off before sending Malik back. Gambhir rushed in, swooped and swiveled around to havea a shy at the non-striker's end but Malik was home. Not that it was a direct hit
6.4 Singh to Younis Khan, FOUR, half-volley well outside off stump , Younis jumped at the line and the length and played a lovely square drive through cover point.
10.4 Singh to Younis Khan, FOUR, steered through vacant slip region. It was full and just outside off stump, Younis opened the bat-face and guided it. He didn't intend to hit it so fine but he got a edge which took the ball finer.
13.3 Khan to Younis Khan, FOUR, full and smacked gloriously down the ground for a four, straight bat, markers name showing fully and creamed past the bowler for four. Breaks the shackles there
14.3 Pathan to Younis Khan, no run, appeal for a catch by Dhoni but the umpire is not sure whether it carried. He (Ameish Saheba) walks to the squar-leg umpire (Billy Doctrove) and the decision stands. It was a slower one, full and outside off stump, Younis goes for a square drive and probably got a edge. Dhoni dives low to his front to 'take' it. He must have got a edge, otherwise he wouldn't have gone across to consult the other umpire. It must have bounced just in front of Dhoni. The replays seem to agree with the umpires.
15.1 Khan to Shoaib Malik, FOUR, Full and wide, crashed through extra cover. Malik stretched well forward and across to cream it through extra cover
19.3 Khan to Shoaib Malik, OUT, And he strikes immediately from that line. This is his 200th ODI wicket. Full, straight, on the middle and Malik fails to connect well with his slog across the line and is cleaned up. He got a thin inside edge and the middle stump was pegged back.
22.2 Harbhajan Singh to Younis Khan, no run, stumping chance missed. It was spinning down the leg side, brushed the pad as Younis lunged out of the crease but Dhoni failed to gather cleanly
26.3 Harbhajan Singh to Younis Khan, SIX, slog-sweep for a six. It was tossed-up, full and just outside off stump, Younis went down on his knee and disposed it over deep midwicket boundary
29.6 Yuvraj Singh to Younis Khan, OUT, Yuvraj gets the breakthrough. It was floated slow through the air, landed on the middle and leg stump line and Younis tried to work it across the line but instead, on this slow track, got a leading edge back to Yuvraj.
32.1 Ganguly to Shahid Afridi, OUT, Ganguly takes out Afridi. It struck him just outside off stump, though. Afridi tried to paddle-sweep a length delivery coming in from just outside off, missed, and was hit on the pad. He was playing a shot and the point of impact was marginally outside off and was a tad unlucky to be given out lbw. That's Ganguly's 100th ODI wicket.
36.1 Ganguly to Mohammad Yousuf, FOUR, short of length, the ball holds up on Yousuf on this sluggish track but he waits on it before punching it through extra cover. Very well played. Classy stroke on a slow track.
41.3 Harbhajan Singh to Mohammad Yousuf, SIX, Maximum! This time Yousuf goes for the big one. The ball is tossed up just a bit extra and he goes for the heave over midwicket, making strong connection.
46.1 Singh to Mohammad Yousuf, no run, dropped by Ganguly at extra cover. A full length delivery from round the stumps and Yousuf tried to scoop it inside-out over extra cover but Ganguly leaped up to intercept but couldn't hold on.
46.3 Singh to Misbah-ul-Haq, SIX, six over the bowler's head. It was a length delivery, from round the stumps and Misbah went down on his back knee and hit cleanly right over the bowler's head. Super strike.
47.1 Pathan to Misbah-ul-Haq, OUT, done in by the slower one. It was delivered from round the stumps, around 116 kmph, landed on a length, just outside off stump and came in. Misbah was made to wait and he tried to chop it away but failed to get any wood on leather.
49.5 Singh to Mohammad Yousuf, SIX, Yousuf moves to 97 with a lovely clean hit to the straight boundary. It was a length delivery and Yousuf killed it without violence. Can he get to his ton?
1.1 Sohail Tanvir to Ganguly, FOUR, Caressed away. Lovely piece of timing. It was full in length, no movement after landing and Ganguly leaned forward to cream it through cover.
2.2 Shoaib Akhtar to Ganguly, OUT, Shoaib strikes early. Caught at second slip. Fullish, outside off stump and moving away, Ganguly flashes at the width but ends up edging it behind.
5.6 Sohail Tanvir to Tendulkar, FOUR, bad line and length - full and on the leg and middle, and Tendulkar wrists it to deep square leg boundary. That's the second boundary of the over and India are off to a decent start here.
7.5 Umar Gul to Tendulkar, FOUR, Even better. It was short in length this time, just outside off stump, Tendulkar hops back to punch it on the up through extra cover. Two in three balls - India on the move now.
8.6 Iftikhar Anjum to Tendulkar, FOUR, It gets better and better. He stands tall to a full-pitched delivery and drives with the full face of the bat. The bat came down dead straight and the ball just blurred away to the straight boundary. He seems to be picking the length early today.
11.6 Umar Gul to Tendulkar, FOUR, And again. Two in a row! And the fifty is up in style. Short in length and just outside off stump, Tendulkar is great nick today and forces this one on the up and through cover.
14.6 Iftikhar Anjum to Sehwag, 1 run, appeal for lbw as the bowler and the 'keeper thought it hit his pad first before making contact with bat. It was full in length, on the middle and off, Sehwag jabbed at it as it came in a touch.
15.6 Sohail Tanvir to Sehwag, FOUR, Now Sehwag joins in the fun. Short and well outside off stump, Sehwag went back and across to slap it through backward point.
19.6 Shahid Afridi to Sehwag, SIX, Bang! Tossed up just a bit extra and Sehwag goes for the big shot, planting his foot down the ground and launching the ball over midwicket for a huge six.
21.5 Shahid Afridi to Tendulkar, FOUR, Make that three in a row. This is fantastic stuff from the little master. Walks a step or two, diagonally, creates room and carves a slightly short of length delivery to the cover point boundary.
26.4 Shoaib Akhtar to Tendulkar, FOUR, moves into 90's with a flash over backward point. It was short in length, outside off stump, Tendulkar punched it up and over backward point.
29.1 Umar Gul to Tendulkar, OUT, Would you believe it? Tendulkar has got out in the 90's again. For the sixth time this year. It landed on a length, outside off stump and shaped away a touch, Tendulkar pushed at it, bat away from the body and at an angle, and got a fatal inside-edge. He stays there, resting on the bat, for a while before slowly turning to walk back.
31.3 Umar Gul to Yuvraj Singh, FOUR, Imperious. Banged in short, just outside off stump, Yuvraj was on the front foot, pushed back to pull it away to midwicket boundary
35.3 Shahid Afridi to Dhoni, FOUR, low full-toss on the leg stump, whipped through midwicket and the ball races away to the fence
40.4 Shoaib Akhtar to Yuvraj Singh, no run, short of a driving length and outside the off, played back past the bowler with soft hands. There's some hesitation about running and in the end the batsmen wisely abstain
42.3 Shoaib Akhtar to Dhoni, FOUR, Now Dhoni cashes in. Full in length, outside off stump and Dhoni flashes it through backward point
