A test of the ability of a batsman to hit the ball straight over
the bowlerís head in an area between long on and long off.
Each team will nominate two batsmen to undertake the discipline.
Each batsman will be bowled ten balls at approximately 50 mph.
The umpire will judge whether the balls are good enough to count
in the competition.
Every hit will be marked but only a competitorís furthest
qualifying hit will be measured by the umpireís assistants. This
hit will be marked with the batsmanís team flag.
A qualifying hit is one that falls within the lines drawn between
the stumps and long on and long off.
The furthest hit will receive six points, the second four points
and so on.
