We are now pleased to announce the launch of our first Test cricket edition of Fantasy Cricket - the India v Pakistan Test series.

You might miss the thrills and spills of one-dayers and Twenty20s, but with a possible 40 wickets to be taken and plenty of runs to be scored over five days, a Test match can make for some exciting Fantasy Cricket. With two traditional rivals locking horns over three Tests, this edition of Fantasy Cricket promises to be a fantastic experience.

Mohammad Yousuf
Pakistan
Cost : 110000
In 2006, Yousuf scored 1788 runs in 11 Tests: a record for a calendar year. He’s only played three Tests this year, but if his form in the ODI series – he scored 282 runs at an average of 94.33 – is anything to go by, the Indian bowlers could be in trouble.
Sachin Tendulkar
India
Cost : 110000
Tendulkar was in sublime form during the ODI series, but he would be frustrated with his frequent dismissals in the 90s. He was at his aggressive best during the ODIs, but one has to see if he sheds the cautious approach he’s had of late in the five-day format.
Kamran Akmal
Pakistan
Cost : 85000
Akmal’s poor run with the bat in the ODI series – 29 runs in four matches – came at a time when the wicketkeeper was under fire for his errors behind the stumps. A back-up in Sarfraz Ahmed was called up, and he could well be making his Test debut.
Sourav Ganguly
India
Cost : 100000
Ganguly was unimpressive in the four ODIs against Pakistan, with 89 runs at a below-par average of 22.25. He didn’t have a great outing in the ODIs against Australia either, and considering his average of 28.30 in nine Tests against Pakistan, the southpaw could be under a bit of pressure.
Anil Kumble
India
Cost : 100000
The 37-year-old legspinner will make his debut as Test captain at the Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi, the same ground where he took the ‘Perfect Ten’ against Pakistan in 1999. And it wouldn’t be a surprise if he adds to his tally of 48 wickets in five Tests at the Kotla.
