Senior Web Designer - Bangalore, India
Reporting to the Head of Design
This new position offers a great opportunity for an ambitious young designer to join one of the world's leading sports websites.
The Senior Designer will be responsible for the delivery of design projects including:-
Graphical enhancements to Cricinfo.com website
Generation of new presentation ideas for cricket content and statistics
Sales support material
Product mock-ups
Corporate image, marketing and branding materials
The successful candidate will have a passion for cricket, an eye for detail and a can-do attitude. They will be particularly interested in the possibilities of presenting cricket content - from news and scores to TV-style graphics - on the web.
The role requires a confident, outgoing individual who will make a strong contribution to the team. Strong English and excellent communication skills are a must, as the role will involve frequent liaison with internal and external contacts, both in India and overseas.
Experience and skills required:-
- web design experience
- content-driven website experience
- understanding of web technologies (html, flash)
- illustration skills (flash, corel draw, illustrator, freehand)
